3) Summer Camp spots are filling up. Get your applications in! We are accepting 1 day a week enrollees through April 30th. If, you are interested in choosing 1 day a week, rather than two, get your applications in asap. It’s going to be a lot of fun! Thank you!

CAP classes are a perfect way to introduce children to a variety of themes through: creative movement, creative drama, music, and visual art! Each week, children explore weekly thematic lesson plans through these four areas of the Arts: movement, drama, music, and visual art! They are encouraged to express themselves, develop at their own rate, are praised for their creativity, are encouraged to be curious, and have fun!

Forest Fun Lesson Plan Details:

This week, CAP classes are exploring the many exciting things one could encounter in the Forest. We will be featuring, Little Bunny Foo Foo, a mischievous bunny who is given chance after chance to correct his behaviors, but, ultimately has to deal with the consequences of his choices. Bunnies are known for their energetic hops. So, CAP Kids, get ready to hop, hop, hop!!!

Depending on your child’s age, he/she may participate in exploring the rhythm sticks to the song, “Little Bunny Foo Foo,” making different parts of our bodies hop (arm, leg, shoulders, head, chest, elbows), explore hopping on the barre, explore acting like Little Bunny Foo Foo and collecting the mice hidden throughout the room, finger painting (Sugar Kids), dobber art (Soaring/Super Kids), and enjoy a variation of the story “Little Bunny Foo Foo.” Elements explored over the semester, include: time, space, energy, beat, tempo, dynamics, timbre, melody, line, shape, texture, colors, acting, design, audience.

I am looking forward to seeing each of you in class!

Ms. Erin
